The Thousand Oaks Nature Reserve is an ecological park created by Silver Hawk to protect and restore the natural environment. Originally, the area was planted with red pines during reforestation campaigns in the 1950s and 60s. However, years of neglect and lack of protection led to significant deforestation, leaving the mountains barren by the 1990s. In 1997, Li Guirong, the first chairman of Silver Hawk, took the initiative to reforest the area and save the vanishing woodland.

Since then, the company has donated tens of thousands of RMB annually to support local villagers in escaping poverty and improving their livelihoods. Over the past decade, the company has built supporting facilities, constructed three small reservoirs, raised 20,000 fish, planted over 900 acres of grass, and more than 100,000 trees, restoring vibrant greenery to the entire mountain range.
